Mango Kutcha
|
Ingredients
2 green mangoes
4 sliced red chillies
1 tablespoon turmeric
50 ml white vinegar
1 medium onion finely chopped
50 ml mustard oil
2 tablespoons crushed mustard seeds
1 tablespoon crushed ginger
1 tablespoon crushed garlic
salt to taste
Cooking Instructions
* Grate some fresh green mangoes into a bowl.
* Put some turmeric powder into the vinegar and stir to make a paste.
* Put the mustard oil into a warm saucepan and stir fry the crushed ginger, garlic and sliced red chillies
together and allow to cook for about a min.
* Add the vinegar and turmeric mixture. Mix well and add the finely chopped onions and cook for 2-3 minutes.
* Add the grated mango to the fried mixture.
* Add the crushed mustard seeds. Stir and cook for approximately 2-3 minutes.
* Add some salt to taste.
